Social Care Groups

The drive to integrate Health and Social Care is viewed by many as overdue and vital to the continual improvement of NHS service provision. The efficiencies that can/should be gained are many, with the obvious beneficiaries being the patients and their Carers.

We work with a number of providers in this sector as they are also often responsible for large numbers of medical devices ranging from the most basic to complex. Again, we provide similar services to those we provide within the NHS. An example of these are:

  • Asset Management - Medical Devices
  • Preventative and Corrective Maintenance
  • Device Evaluation and Procurement Support
  • Management of OEM contracts (Biomed, Endoscopy and DI)
  • Consumables Management - development and supply
  • End User Training
  • NHSLA Training
  • Ensuring CQC Compliance
  • Representation on Medical Device Groups
  • Acceptance Testing - introduction into service
  • MHRA - liaison and implementation

  • Health and Safety & Medical Device Risk Management
  • Lifecycle Management of Medical Devices – including retirement and disposal IAW WEEE

Private Care Homes

Care Homes are an essential element of the healthcare provision available to all of us. They’re not just for the elderly; they exist in various guises to look after the most vulnerable people across our society. There are specialist homes catering for mental health, acquired brain injury, children with special needs etc.

Again, like all organisations involved with the provision of healthcare services, Care Homes are also responsible for medical devices ranging from the most basic to complex. Again, we provide similar services to those we provide within the NHS. An example of these are:

Healthcare Charities

Healthcare charities play a crucial role across a range of healthcare facilities. The current state of the NHS means that a lot of trusts are struggling to meet efficiency targets and as a result, are at risk of creating deficits of up to £30bn a year.

These help to reduce the pressure on the NHS by providing expert research, raising awareness on current issues and promoting health and well-being.
